Responsibility on record

At Avineon Tensing, responsibility for the wellbeing of our team is something we put on record. Across fair work, equality, environmental action and ethical practice, we hold ourselves to recognised standards and we're open about how we meet them.

UK Government Good Work Plan

At Avineon Tensing, the way we treat our people is shaped by the five foundational principles of quality work set out in the UK Government's Good Work Plan: satisfaction; fair pay; participation and progression; wellbeing, safety and security; and voice and autonomy. In practice, this means roles that are clear and rewarding, pay that recognises skill and contribution and genuine opportunities to develop and progress. We take the health, safety and security of our colleagues seriously and we make sure they have a real say in the decisions that affect them. These are not words on a page, but how we choose to work.

Equality Act 2010

At Avineon Tensing, fair and equal treatment is built into how we operate, in line with the Equality Act 2010. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on the basis of any protected characteristic - age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation. We recruit and promote on merit, make reasonable adjustments so that disabled colleagues can do their best work and actively foster good relations across our teams. Our published Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy sets out these commitments and holds us to account against them.
