FME Form Introductory
Welcome to our FME Form (formerly FME Desktop) Introductory training course. The training has been revised based on years of training experience and feedback from hundreds of delegates. The result, a unique and crafted FME training course focused on you.
This hands-on course uses the latest version of FME and features exercises and examples with both global and local datasets. You'll participate in interactive workshop activities focused on building modern and efficient FME Workspaces, helping you maximise your FME investment.

Unlock the full potential of FME Form with our Introductory Training course. Designed to broaden your understanding beyond single functions, you'll gain a comprehensive grasp of FME's core functionalities and diverse applications. This course covers fundamental concepts and terminology, empowering you to become an efficient FME Form user. Through instructor-led sessions, you'll master Data Translation, Data Transformation, and Workspace Design, learning to create efficient, production-ready FME processes. We'll also dive into practical transformer use and best practices, ensuring you build a strong foundation from day one.
With so much data out there for you to process, we’ve built our content around custom UK, European and global based examples, that we use to give you both a local and a broad context to the course. We use this data so you can see how to read and write data effectively and make new integrations, whilst adhering to best practice techniques and offering tips and tricks to help you be effective quickly.

This course is intended for anyone who wants to become proficient using FME Form. Typical candidates are:
- Completely new users that have just been given access to an FME Form licence.
- Users that have used FME for a while, but never had any formal training.
- Users returning to FME after a break, who want to refresh and update their skills.

Our Approach
To ensure a flexible training experience, we deliver this course in the following formats:
- Two concurrent days of focused training time between 09:15 and 16:30.
- Four concurrent “family friendly” half days of focused training time, delivered so not to be disrupted by school drop-off and pickup slots, 10:00 till 14:30.
- Bundled with content from other courses as part of a bespoke offering just for your organisation.
